Weight Control With Hypnosis

Thinking of shedding some weight? It may be easier than you think! We all know that being at our recommended weight is important for our overall health and well-being. But did you know that research has shown that hypnosis is an effective tool to use, to not only reach an ideal weight for a particular occasion, but maintain it long-term?

In one study of 60 women separated into hypnosis versus non-hypnosis groups; the group using hypnosis lost an average of 17 pounds, while the non-hypnosis group lost an average of only .5 pounds (Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1986).

In another study, the results showed the average short-term weight loss was 11.8 pounds using hypnosis and 6 pounds without. Even more importantly, over the long term the average weight loss without hypnosis remained at 6 pounds, but with hypnosis it jumped to 14.88 pounds – indicating again that the effects of hypnosis are long lasting (Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1996).

With hypnosis, a re-programming of your eating habits and lifestyle behaviors can take place. ‘Diets’ tend to only work ‘short-term’ as once the diet is over, you tend to return to your normal negative eating habits, i.e. the old programming is still there. Hypnosis helps you eat the correct foods at the right times, as well as helping you become more active; which are all part of a typical hypnosis weight control program. It really does unleash the power within, helping you help yourself in many positive ways. You will also learn techniques such as ‘Self-Hypnosis’ to ensure that you not only reach, but remain at your ideal weight, shape and size; where you’re looking and feeling good!

Hypnosis for weight control takes 3-5 sessions and has long-term results. It’s an effective and natural method of controlling weight, and allowing you to gain control over your thoughts. Celebrities such singer Lily Allen (went from a size 12 to a size 8) and Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, have obtained the benefits of using this powerful tool. You can too!
