Bruce Lee, the famous martial artists and sometime philosopher once said, “Don’t pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.” While that is quite a gritty statement I do agree with the sentiment. Building one’s inner strength or resilience is surely desirable. I could easily paraphrase Bruce’s statement by saying, “Don’t pray for an easy life, make yourself stronger!” There are many ways to build resilience including cultivating a positive and realistic mindset. For example acknowledging that the challenges of life can make us stronger and keeping things in perspective. Hypnotherapy is also a very effective way to break negative habits including negative ways of thinking. Hypnotherapy is all about tapping into our own inner resources and activating them.
